If you hate your own hate, you have a love hate relationship with everyone.

At least it is for me, because both of those thongs are quite wrong.

No one is good but God. It doesn't require superstition though. It's a very obvious and logical process.
Nobody is special, but some people are higher quality than others. That's because high quality people realize that all of their blessings come from others.
Call the source of blessings God, your parents, or the universe, but in any case, gratitude is the answer.
